My name is Elisa and I was introduced to yoga about 7 years ago when I moved from Italy to London, UK. I would lie if I said that was love at first sight, but with time, perseverance and help from experienced teacher, I discovered and experienced yoga benefits on myself.
I used to be a quite anxious person and yoga has helped me to rebalance my mind, focus on the present moment and opened a connection with my true self that I did not have before. Yoga now plays a big part in my life and my aim is to inspire more people to incorporate yoga in their life, experiencing physical and mental benefits, helping them to reconnect body, mind and soul.
Yoga for me is meditation in movement, is releasing the physical body so that Prana (energy) can flow freely creating internal awareness. I follow Vinyasa yoga principles where I create balanced sequences between standing, balancing, seating and inverted Asana (poses) while helping the students' practice offering support, assisting or adjusting. Challenging elements are always part of the class, same as relaxing and strengthening components to balance all aspects in one single session.
I am a fully qualified 200 Hour Yoga Teacher, qualification is recognised by the Yoga Alliance USA and I have been teaching privately, in group classes and corporate environment since December 2016.
